PROS OF KENT UV FILTER:
Poor water conditions will incur lots of illnesses to humanbeings. Although chlorine is used in disinfecting water, it still cannot kill certain protozoa and remains in the water. Using UV in purifying water is a safe, efficient, and eco-friendly way.
Accessories
The whole set of Kent uv filter contains chamber and brackets, UV lamp (16.000hrs lifespan), quartz tube, water-proof holder and ballast with 365-day countdown ballast.
Safe way to purify aqua
When bacteria and viruses being exposed to the UV wavelengths of 254nm (which owns the strongest germicidal efficacy), they will be deprived of reproducing and infecting ability so that they could be disinfected thoroughly. Besides, there's no secondary outcom produced.
Water-prevent
The ballast and the lamp holder are both water-proofing, being compatible with UL certification.
Digital Ballast
This kind of ballast could timekeep 0-9999 hours, to remind you that you need to change the lamp how many days later, which can be convenient.
