Danger of UV treatment of water

Although your UV system has been manufactured to the highest safety standards, care must be taken when operating and/or maintaining your system.

Failure to follow these instructions could result in serious injury or death.

SHOCK HAZARD of UV treatment of water

Before servicing this equipment, disconnect the power cord from the electrical outlet.

There may be more than one source of power.

Connect to a ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI). Certified for electrical shock and electrical fire hazard only.

Pressurized Device- IMPALEMENT HAZARD

Never perform any physical inspection, repair or maintenance on UV chamber unless it has been isolated and depressurized.

Never service UV lamps, sleeves or associated hardware until depressurization of UV chamber has been confirmed.

ULTRAVIOLET RADIATION HAZARD

Disconnect power before replacing lamp. Never look directly at an illuminated UV lamp without adequate eye protection and always protect your skin from direct exposure to the UV light.

Always use UV protective gear, including gloves and UV safety glasses.

If accidental exposure occurs, immediately cool effected area and consult a doctor.

THERMAL HAZARD

Allow UV lamps and the UV chamber to cool for a minimum of 10(ten) minutes before handing.

AVOID INJURY

Read and understand the Operation and Maintenance Manual before operating and performing any maintenance on this equipment.

For complete disinfection, use ONLY genuine replacement parts.

Your UV systems is intended to be installed indoors and away from any water hazards. Do not plug the unit in if the system or any of the components are wet.
