A1:There are 2 lights on the ballast. A red one that shows power on and a green one that indicates the condition of the lamp.

Q2: What size thread are the fittings?

A2: The 30W 8 GPM model is 3/4" BSPT.

Q3: Does it kill e coli virus?

A3: Yes, the UV sterilizer can kill E. coli virus.

Q4: Is it ok to turn off this ultraviolet water purification if gone for a couple of days or longer?

A4: Yes, and it should be so the UV bulb could have a better lifetime performance.

Q5: How long does it take to work?
