Ultra Violet Water System

With a lamp life of 8,000 hours, Ultra violet water system is designed to give you just approx a year of use before it needs replacing. You install the system at your home's point of entry, and most people find installation easy enough to handle themselves. You just need to fit the UV lamp inside the sleeve and attach the system directly to your water line, following the installation instructions.

Q1: Can I drink the water after it has been treated by a UV?

Yes, the UV system will make the water safe to drink from a microbiological safety point. You no longer will need to buy bottles and jugs to have safe drinking water in your home.

Q2:Do I have to replace the UV lamp? Why?

The UV lamp degrades over time and after 8000 hours (approx 1 year) of use, it's killing ability drops to levels that are considered unsafe. Therefore the UV lamp must be replaced once a year even though the UV lamp continues to lights up.
