Water Disinfection System

Water Disinfection System use germicidal-spectrum ultraviolet light to effectively kill bacteria, viruses, and many other waterborne microorganisms that cause illness, including cryptosporidium and giardia. Like all UV sterilizers, Water Disinfection System are a highly effective, reasonably priced, and low maintenance approach to deal with harmful pathogens in your water without the need to use potentially harmful chemicals like chlorine.

The Agua Topone SA series uses a 316L stainless steel chamber and a stainless steel control cabinet. The UV lamp emits powerful ultraviolet light and incorporates natural ultraviolet light energy to eradicate microbiological contamination. Water enters through the bottom part of the reactor chamber and swirls around a high output, low pressure mercury vapor lamp thermally protected by a quartz sleeve. Energy components contained in microorganisms absorb the light energy; this disrupts the DNA and prevents reproduction.

Effective: UV system destroys 99.99% of bacteria such as E coli, coliform, Giardia, Salmonella 

Compatible: UV water purification can be used with other forms of filtration such as Whole House water purification systems, reverse osmosis or carbon block filters.   

Chemical Free: UV does not use any chemicals like chlorine or trihalomethanes (THM) and it does not leave any chemical taste or odor to the water. 

Environment friendly: UV systems are a great alternative to chlorine disinfection.

Low Maintenance: All it takes is to change UV lamp and quartz sleeve annually
