The contact time is short, the sterilization ability is strong; the equipment is simple, the operation and management are convenient, and it can be automated; there is no side effect on the water during processing, and there is no danger of poisoning. It can be used in small-scale industrial water where chloride ions are not allowed to increase in the treated water. The disadvantages are: there is no continuous sterilization effect of residual chlorine, and the current lamp has a short service life and is more expensive.

uv for water: It is mainly composed of lamp tube, magnetic flux leakage transformer and reflector.

The main points to pay attention to in the operation of uv for water are:

(1) Ultraviolet disinfection is not as effective as residual chlorine, so the water after disinfection should be strengthened to prevent re-contamination.

(2) When using ultraviolet mercury lamps for disinfection, there must be a stabilization time of 5 to 15 minutes after the lamp is ignited.

(3) Measures should be taken in the electrical aspect to ensure that the rated power and voltage of the lamp are stable, otherwise the sterilization effect will be affected when the ignition power is insufficient.

(4) The equipment and management of ultraviolet disinfection are relatively simple, but at present,due to the short service life of the lamp tube and the high price, the promotion and application are limited.
