An application in Anhui Province highlights ultraviolet disinfection in packaged drinking water production.
Agua Topone's UV water disinfection technology is being applied to a packaged water treatment and filling line in Chuzhou, Anhui Province, China. The application connects water preparation with the production process, supporting microbial control as part of the facility's overall water quality management.

Integrating Disinfection into Water Treatment
Packaged water production requires a coordinated approach to incoming water treatment, disinfection and filling hygiene. UV technology contributes a dedicated microbial treatment step that can be combined with suitable filtration and other water preparation processes.
As water passes through a UV reactor, ultraviolet light inactivates susceptible microorganisms. Treatment performance depends on incoming water quality, operating flow and the UV dose delivered.
Physical Treatment Without Disinfectant Addition
UV disinfection treats water without adding disinfectant chemicals during the UV stage. This makes it a practical option for water production processes where operators seek to preserve the water's original taste and odor.
The technology can be incorporated into production pipelines, allowing disinfection to work alongside other treatment and process controls.
Connecting Water Quality with Filling Operations
The Chuzhou application highlights the relationship between water treatment and packaged water filling. A coordinated production system considers water quality throughout preparation, transfer and filling, together with the cleanliness of water-contact equipment.
UV treatment forms one part of this approach. Regular equipment maintenance, appropriate operating conditions and hygiene management support consistent performance across the production line.

Supporting Packaged Water Production Projects
This project adds a packaged water application in Anhui to Agua Topone's industrial portfolio. Agua Topone provides selection and integration support based on source-water conditions, production capacity, required disinfection performance and installation requirements.
